  • Guiding UC Davis to a pair of wins in a home-opening weekend, junior Mia Starr has been named Big West Setter of the Week. This is Starr’s second career honor, picking up the award back on Oct. 14, 2025. 

  • In a sweep of Cal State Fullerton on Thursday night, Starr recorded 38 assists, or 12.67 per set to guide the offense to a .376 team hitting percentage, their best outing of the season. Starr also added three kills, four digs and two blocks to the tally against the Titans. 

  • The junior from Portland, Ore., went off for a double-double of 46 assists with 11 digs in the four-set win over UC Irvine on Saturday to set the Aggies as one of just two teams still unbeaten in conference play.   

  • Starr’s 10.16 assists per set average this season leads The Big West and ranks 26th in NCAA Division I. Starr is the only player in the conference averaging at least 10 assist per set.
