It is Castellon's first career weekly honor from the conference. The freshman started the week by hitting a three-run home run in a mid-week matchup at Santa Clara, Tuesday night. Castellon went 3-for-4 with one run as the Mustangs defeated Cal State Bakersfield 4-1 in the series opener on Friday. The Woodland Hills, Calif. product was 4-for-5 from the plate with two RBI and one run as Cal Poly prevailed 9-5 in game two, Saturday. On Sunday, Castellon hit 2-for-5 with three RBI and a run as the Mustangs prevailed 12-6 and completed the sweep of the Roadrunners. Cal Poly 31-15 overall and in second place in the league standings with a 18-6 record. Castellon is hitting .358 with 39 RBI and 29 runs.
