It is the fourth career weekly honor from the conference for Torres, having won the award once last season and twice in 2022. On Saturday against No. 43 UC Santa Barbara, Torres and partner Ivan Savkin defeated the Gaucho pair of Lucca Liu and Diogo Morais 7-6 (8-6) at the No. 2 position to clinch the doubles point. In No. 1 singles, Torres downed Gianluca Brunkow in straight sets 7-6 (10-2), 6-2. UC Davis is 10-5 on the year and 2-1 in conference play. Torres and Savkin are 7-5 on the year in doubles. Torres is 5-7 in singles play, with the majority of those reps coming in the top position.
