  • Averaging under-par rounds in a pair of March tournaments, Long Beach State junior Jasmine Leovao has been named Big West Golfer of the Month for a fourth career occasion. Leovao was twice tapped last season (October and April) and once during a freshman campaign (April 2023). 

  • Leovao was the top finisher for the Beach, tying for 13th among 72 golfers at the Yale Invitational West on March 10-11. The Oceanside, Calif., native rolled in 13 birdies and an eagle including a first round 67 to lead LBSU to a 10th place team finish in a stout field. 

  • At the Silicon Valley Showcase on March 24-25, Leovao carded a seventh Top 10 finish of the season tying for seventh place with a 1-over 214. As a team, LBSU was finished knotted for fourth.
