Tread Rosenthal Award Setter of the Week Week Of 3/31/2025 Sport Men's Volleyball School Hawai'i Year Sophomore Position Setter Hometown Austin, Texas High School Mira Costa HS Tread Rosenthal of Hawai’i picked up a fifth Big West Setter of the Week award on the season after leading the Rainbow Warriors to a pair of wins against No. 11 UC San Diego. The sophomore from Austin, Texas, averaged 10.57 assists per set and led UH to a team hitting percentage of .360 in a two-match series sweep, also adding a team-best 1.86 digs per set along with 1.00 kills per set on .462 hitting (7-1-13). Rosenthal dished out 33 assists with three kills, one ace, six digs and three blocks in the series-opening sweep on Friday. In Saturday’s rematch, Rosenthal tallied 41 assists with four kills and a team-best seven digs while directing an offense that hit .390 in a four-set victory. Roenthal leads The Big West and is second in the country in assists average at 10.98 and Hawai’i is hitting .359 on the year, good for sixth in national collegiate volleyball.
