High School Cal State Bakersfield's Jacob Yagers won the 1500m at the Mark Conover Classic to earn The Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week award. It is Yagers' first career weekly honor. The senior clocked 3:44.40 over 1500m to set a new school record. The time currently ranks first in the conference, seventh in the region and 11th nationally.
