It is Walls' first career weekly honor from the league. In Sunday's rubber match against the 15th-ranked Gauchos, the righty tossed 7.0 innings, allowing no runs on four hits and two walks and three strikeouts as Hawai'i downed UCSB 1-0 to win the game and take the series. Hawai'i is 14-5 overall on the season, 3-3 in Big West play. Walls has a 2.49 ERA in 21.2 innings of work. In conference play, the freshman has not allowed a run through 11.0 innings.
