Kristian Titriyski Award Freshman of the Week Week Of 3/3/2025 Sport Men's Volleyball School Hawai'i Year Freshman Position Opposite Hometown Sofia, Bulgaria High School VC Levski Sofia Hawai’i freshman Kristian Titriyski led the Rainbow Warriors to a two-match sweep of UC Irvine to open league play and claim a third career Big West Freshman of the Week award, going back-to-back for honors. Titriyski averaged 6.0 kills and 7.0 points along with 1.5 digs and 1.0 blocks per set with three service aces in the weekend on O’ahu. The native of Sofia, Bulgaria, began the week with match-high 17 kills, two aces, three digs, and two blocks on Friday. Sunday, Titriyski tallied a match-high 19 kills on an impressive .571 hitting effort (19-3-28) with one ace, six digs, and four blocks as the Rainbow Warriors took both matches from the Anteaters in the top 5 showdown. The freshman is in the Top 10 in national collegiate volleyball in a trio of categories, including average kills (4.20 - 6th), points (5.13 - 4th) and aces (0.540 - 7th).
