Jones amassed 37 points, shooting 14-of-23 from the floor and 8-of-11 from the free throw line, with five rebounds and three assists in an 88-87 overtime win at Long Beach State, Thursday. Two of the 37 points came on a buzzer-beating shot to ensure the Roadrunner win. It was Cal State Bakersfield's first season series sweep of the Beach since 2008, and the first road win at LBSU since 2021. The Chicago, Ill. product scored 14 points at Cal Poly to become Cal State Bakersfield's single-season scoring leader in Division I with 581 points.
