High School Glendora HS '22 Braydon Wooldridge of UC Davis slashed .556/.579/.944 with four doubles, one home run and 12 RBI, while in five games to win The Big West Baseball Field Player of the Week award. It is Wooldridge’s first career weekly honor from the conference. The junior started the week tossing two relief innings of no runs with one strikeout as the Aggies defeated Pacific, Tuesday. Wooldridge went 5-for-6 with two runs, eight RBI and two doubles in the 22-7 series-opening win against Utah Valley, Friday. The Aggie outfielder collected one hit and one RBI each in both games of a doubleheader against the Wolverines, Saturday. The Chino Hills, Calif. product compiled three hits, one for a home run, two RBI and two runs as UC Davis earned a 7-5 win on Sunday for a series draw. UC Davis is 8-4 overall to start the year. Wooldridge is hitting .429 with five runs and 13 RBI at the plate and has a 0.00 ERA in 5.0 innings this season.
