Last week, Titriyski earned freshman weekly honors. The opposite hitter averaged 4.00 kills and 4.78 points per set against the Cardinal, totaling 36 total kills in the series while hitting a combined .368. In Wednesday’s five-set win, Titriyski posted a team-high 15 kills with five digs, two blocks and an ace. The native of Sofia, Bulgaria, followed up with a career-high 21 kills, hitting .472 with six digs, four blocks and a pair of aces in Friday’s four-set loss for the split. Titriyski currently rates fourth in The Big West and seventh in the nation in points per set (4.86). The 0.611 aces average is good for sixth in the country, and fifth in the league.
