The Sofia Bulgaria, native, led the team in points, finishing with seven aces, five kills and two blocks while making 35 assists. As a team, Long Beach State hit .295 against the Bruins in a 25-21, 20-25, 25-16, 25-22 victory. After the impressive match at the service line, Nikolov leads the country in aces per set with a 1.129 average. Nikolov is the only player to average over an ace per set on the season, to date. The seven aces in a four-set match also stands as a new national season best.
