  • Cal State Bakersfield pitcher Bailee Bustos went 2-1 with a 0.31 ERA in 22.1 innings of work in the circle to clinch The Big West Pitcher of the Week award. It is the first career weekly honor of Bustos' career. 

  • The righty started got things started, coming in relief in the first inning and throwing 6.2 innings of one run ball with a strikeout in a 3-2 loss against NC State, Friday. 

  • In the nightcap against UCF Friday, Bustos threw 1.2 innings of relief and gave up no runs. 

  • The Tulare, Calif. product threw a complete game shutout in a 2-0 victory against James Madison, Saturday. 

  • Bustos closed the weekend with another complete game shutout, this time a 4-0 win over Illinois and tallied two strikeouts, Sunday.
