It is the Visaya's third weekly honor of the season and career, having won the award two times earlier this year. The Rainbow Warrior junior and partner Tianhao Hou defeated Leandro Zgraggen and Ange-Keven Koua of North Dakota by a break, 6-4, to lead the match off. UH captured the doubles point against the Fighting Hawks. With the dual match tied at 3-3, the Honolulu native came through to clinch Hawai'i's first team win of the season. With the score even, 1-1 in No. 1 singles, Visaya prevailed in the third set tiebreaker, holding off Zgraggen. The final line was 6-2, 5-7, 7-6 (4).
