  • UC Irvine senior Hilir Henno averaged 4.11 kills per set, hitting .542 with just five errors in 59 swings to claim Big West Offensive Player of the Week for Jan. 13. It is Henno's eighth career weekly offensive honor from the league. 

  • The outside hitter was named to the UCSB Asics All-Invitational team, leading third-ranked UC Irvine to a 3-0 start. 

  • Henno totaled nine kills and four aces in a 3-0 sweep over Menlo, Thursday, in the opening match of the season. With the four aces, Henno set the school record for career aces.  

  • The senior posted 13 kills, hitting .667 (13-0-21) without an error, to go with an ace, dig and block in Friday's 3-0 win against Tusculum. 

  • On Saturday against Missouri S&T, the native of Pornichet, France led UCI with a season-high 15 kills, five aces and eight digs.
