Rosenthal averaged 13.43 assists per set in a two-match home series against No. 20 McKendree, leading UH to a combined.406 team hitting percentage over the weekend. The second-year player from Austin, Texas, recorded 54 assists with five service aces in the season opener on Friday, adding two kills, two digs and two blocks in the match. On Sunday, Rosenthal compiled 40 assists in the three-setter, with three kills and six digs as the ‘Bows hit .463 in the rematch. Including last week’s exhibition victory against British Columbia, the reigning Big West Freshman of the Year tallied 119 total assists.
