High School Valencia HS '23 Carson Hammond compiled a goal and an assist to win The Big West Men's Soccer Freshman of the Week accolade. It is Hammond's first career weekly honor. The rookie recorded the game-winning goal in a 4-2 win at Sacramento State. With the win, UC Davis clinched a berth in the upcoming Big West Championship with a 4-3-2 conference record, 8-5-5 overall. Hammond concludes the regular season with two assists and one goal.
