Hawai’i senior Brooke Van Sickle put down a team-high 35 kills while hitting .311 in the final weekend of the regular season to earn her second career Big West weekly award (Sept. 27).

To open the weekend against CSUN, she tallied 14 kills with just one error in 35 attacks to hit .371 in the four-set win. it was her 19th double-digit kill match, and 11th double-double of the season. The Rainbow Wahine clinched their spot in the NCAA Championship field with the victory, as Hawai’i earned The Big West crown.

Against UC Santa Barbara, the native of Battle Ground, Wash., tied her career-high with 21 kills which was her third match with 20+ kills this season. She finished two digs shy of a double-double with eight digs, two blocks and a service ace.
