  • After a weekend split, Hawai’i outside hitter Caylen Alexander has been voted Big West Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.  

  • The junior opened the weekend by leading the Rainbow Wahine with 18 kills and just four errors in 41 attempts to hit .341 in UH’s sweep at Cal Poly on Friday. 

  • Saturday, the Alpharetta, Ga., native followed with a 20-kill performance at UC Santa Barbara on Saturday, posting The Big West’s highest total in a three-set match this season. The match marked the ninth time this year Alexander have finished with at least 20 kills in a game. 

  • Alexander averaged 6.33 kills per set in the road trip, raising the season averages to 5.10 kills and 5.58 points per set. Alexander’s kill tally is good for third in NCAA Division I with the points average standing in fifth nationally.
