  • UC San Diego’s Paulina Baillie helped the Tritons to a pair of weekend victories to claim Big West Freshman of the Week. The honor is the second of the season for the product of Carlsbad, Calif., who earned Defensive Player of the Week back on Sept. 2. 

  • In Friday’s 3-1 win over Cal State Fullerton, Baillie recorded a career-high three aces with 15 digs. 

  • Saturday, the libero popped up a career-best 27 digs in a five-setter against UC Irvine as the Tritons took the win. 

  • For the week, Baillie averaged 4.67 digs per set with seven assists and four aces.
