High School Elk Grove HS Angad Singh helped Sacramento State to a 2-0 week to secure The Big West Men's Soccer Freshman of the Week accolade. It is Singh's first career weekly honor and fourth time this season that Sacramento State has taken home the weekly freshman honor. The rookie recorded an assist in a 5-0 shutout home win against CSUN, Wednesday. The Elk Grove, Calif. native played all 90 minutes in a 3-1 home victory against UC Santa Barbara, Saturday. Sacramento State is tied for fourth in the conference standings with a 3-3 record, and is 6-7-2 overall.
