  • UC San Diego’s Molly McCluskey continued the hot start for Tritons to claim a second consecutive Big West Freshman of the Week award.  

  • McCluskey earned a spot on the all-tournament team at the Kristen Dickmann Invitational hosted at Navy as the Tritons went 2-1 in competition. The opposite hitter averaged 4.29 points, 3.67 kills and 1.67 digs in Annapolis, Md.  

  • McCluskey has led the Tritons offensively in five of their first six contests, collecting a season-high 18 kills on .421 hitting and 21 points to go along with four blocks and four aces in a five-set loss against Liberty. The Costa Mesa, Calif., native also led the way with 16 kills and 18 points in a 3-1 victory against Cornell on Sunday to cap the weekend.
