High School Mountainside HS '24 Zach Neuls recorded a goal as UC Davis defeated Oregon State 2-1 on the road to be named The Big West Men's Soccer Freshman of the Week. On Sunday against a team that went to the College Cup last season, the rookie scored the game-winning goal in the 86th minute. UC Davis rallied back from a 1-0 deficit, scoring two unanswered goals, with Neuls' proving to be the deciding factor, helping the Aggies secure their first-ever road victory against Oregon State in Corvallis.
