  • UC Davis senior Sam Tristan tacked on two more goals for the Aggies to claim Big West Offensive Player of the Week for Sept. 9, a second weekly honor of the season. 

  • The Big West's leading goal scorer kept up a blistering pace, delivering the game-winner in the 87th minute in a 3-2 victory at Eastern Washington on Thursday. Tristan now has two game-winning goals on the season.  

  • Tristan notched another goal at New Mexico State on Sunday, scoring the first goal of the game in a 3-1 road win, just 12 minutes into the contest. Both of the week’s strikes came by way of headers.  

  • The Fresno, Calif., native was also credited with the assist on the second strike of the afternoon in the 21st minute. Tristan’s average of 2.00 points per game is a Big West best and good for 26th in the country.  

  • Tristan now has six goals on the season to match 2023’s output and lead the league by three. The goal output currently ranks 11th in NCAA Division I
