  • Jayde Holley of UC Davis picked up Big West Defender of the Week for Sept. 9, after a pair of Aggies’ wins. This is the redshirt junior’s first career weekly honor.  

  • The Big West's leader in the category distributed assists for the Aggies in road wins at Eastern Washington and New Mexico State while playing lockdown defense on the UC Davis backline. 

  • Against Eastern Washington, Holley notched an assist on a Genevieve Fontes goal to start the scoring in a comeback win, while helping limit the Eagles to no goals during the final 30 minutes of action. 

  • In the game against New Mexico State, the Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., product again dished out the first assist of the game raising the tally on the season to five while the defense limited New Mexico State to just one goal. 

  • Holley’s five total assists currently ranks 11th in NCAA Division I with a 0.71 assists per game mark good for 23rd nationally.
