It is Abshier's third weekly honor from the conference, having won it once earlier this season (March 11) and once last year (April 24). In an eventual 4-2 team victory in game two of the series on Friday, the senior allowed one run on three hits, one walk and compiled eight strikeouts. The lefty retired the final 12 Titan batters in order and recorded career strikeout No. 200 during the outing. Hawai'i finished its 2024 season on a five-game win streak with a 37-16 overall record, going 20-10 in conference play. Abshier went 5-4 with a 4.00 ERA, accumulating 90 strikeouts in 81.0 innings of work this year.
