  • UC San Diego's Tamara Aimufia won the triple jump at the Titan Tune-Up to claim the Women's Field Athlete of the Week award. It is Aimufia's first career weekly honor.

  • The freshman leaped 12.32m in the triple jump for the win. It is .05m shy of Aimufia's personal record. 

  • Aimufia also competed in the 100m, running a personal-record time of 12.84.
