  • Long Beach State junior Charlie Forster led the squad in their lone April competition to pick up the season’s final Big West Golfer of the Month award, a first career mothly honor.  

  • Forster tied for 19th place in the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, firing off rounds of 70-72-69 for a 211, 5-under par performance.  

  • The 3-under in the final round propelled the junior from Winchester, England 15 spots up the leaderboard. 

  • Long Beach State finished in sixth place in the team standings with a 17-under par showing, sliding up four places in the final round.  

  • The Beach enters the 2024 Big West Men’s Golf Championship field as the highest ranked squad and will be part of the first groups to tee off in Sunday’s first round from La Quinta Country Club in La Quinta, Calif.
