  • CSUN's David Phillips, Jr. was part of two first-place performances at the Beach Invitational to claim the Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor. It is Phillips, Jr.'s third career weekly honor, having won it once last season (March 28) and once earlier this year (March 26). 

  • The redshirt senior took first in the 200m with a wind-aided 20.44 performance. 

  • The Dixon, Calif. product clocked a wind-aided 10.01 in the 100m for third place. 

  • Phillips, Jr. was also a member of the 4x100m (39.47) relay team that placed first.
