  • UC Irvine's Sameen Andar ran a personal-best time in the 10,000m at the Bryan Clay Invitational to earn the Women's Track Athlete of the Week honor. It is the first career weekly honor for Andar. 

  • The junior clocked finished the 25-lap race in 33:07.48. It is the second-fastest time in program history and ranks first in The Big West, 12th in the region and 28th in the nation.
