  • Kian Maher of UC Davis hit two personal records at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational to claim the Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor. It is the first career weekly honor for Maher. 

  • The sophomore ran a personal-best time of 47.88 in the 400m for a third-place finish.

  • The Carlsbad, Calif. product got another lifetime best, clocking in at 21.74 in the 200m.

  • Maher was also a member of the 4x100m (41.83) and 4x400m (3:20.05) relay teams that placed fifth and sixth, respectively.
