  • Kevin Fitzer slashed .636/.667/1.636 with seven RBI and seven runs to lead CSUN to a series win against UC Davis to earn The Big West Field Player of the Week honor. It is the second career weekly award for Fitzer having won the same accolade last week (March 25). 

  • The junior started with a 3-for-4 performance with a double and home run, coming up a triple shy of the cycle, recording three RBI and three runs in CSUN's 13-9 win in the series opener on Thursday. 

  • Fitzer drew two walks in the first game of Friday's doubleheader. 

  • The Aliso Viejo, Calif. product went a perfect 4-for-4 from the plate with two home runs for four RBI and four runs in an 11-2 win in Friday's rubber game. 

  • CSUN is 16-11 overall and 6-3 in conference play. Fitzer has now reached base safely in 23 consecutive games and is currently batting a team-best .396 with 28 RBI, 27 runs and eight home runs on the season.
