  • Long Beach State senior utility Lara Luka accumulated 10 goals and 10 assists in three wins to earn The Big West Player of the Week award. It is Luka's second career weekly honor from the conference, having won it once in 2022 (Feb. 2) as a member of Hawai'i. 

  • The Beach went 3-0 at the Michigan Invitational, including a win over a top-10 team. 

  • The senior scored four goals and dished out three assists in a 22-6 victory over St. Francis. 

  • In a 12-9 win at No. 9 Michigan, Luka compiled two goals and three assists.

  • The Belgrade, Serbia product tallied four goals and four assists in a 14-7 triumph against Bucknell. With the performance, Luka surpassed 100 career goals at LBSU, becoming the 23rd player to hit the milestone.

  • Long Beach State is 16-6 overall and 2-0 in conference play. The Beach are tied for sixth in the latest CWPA national rankings. Luka leads LBSU in goals with 67 and in assists with 35.
