Long Beach State's Rahni Turner won the 100m hurdles at the Challenge Cup to earn the Women's Track Athlete of the Week honor. It is the second career weekly honor for Turner, having won it once last season (March 14).

The Mesa, Ariz. product finished the 100m hurdle race in 13.22, a new meet record.
- Turner also finished third in the 200m (24.95) and was a member of the 4x100 relay that won the competition in 46.66.
