  • The Hawai'i duo of Jamie Santer and Alana Embry helped the Rainbow Wahine to a perfect weekend in th Heineken Queen's Cup to claim Big West Pairs Team of the Week. The award is the first for each student-athlete.  

  • Named the Most Outstanding Pair of the Heineken Queen’s Cup, Santer and Embry were 6-0 from the No. 1 flight as 12th-ranked UH beat won four matches in sweeping fashion.

  • Santer and Embry trounced their competition in the semifinal and finals with an average margin of victory of over seven points per set on the final day of the three-day competition at Queen’s Beach in Honolulu.  

  • The twosome started out Saturday with a 21-19, 21-11 victory over Kate Clermont and McKenna Thomas of Pepperdine, and in the gold medal match against Boise State, the pair defeated Marlayna Bullington and Sierra Land 21-16, 21-8.
