Cal Poly senior Natalia Ackerman averaged a double-double for the week to help lead Cal Poly to a pair of crucial winds in the penultimate weekend of play in the regular season. This marks Ackerman’s second career award, also earning honors on Feb. 12.

Ackerman averaged 17.0 points and 11.0 rebounds in addition to 4.5 blocks per game in wins against UC Santa Barbara and Cal State Bakersfield.

In the home edition of Blue-Green Rivalry, the senior from Watsonville, Calif., finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and five blocks to go along with a pair of steals and pair of assists.

On Saturday at Cal State Bakersfield, Ackerman scored 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting while adding 11 rebounds and four blocks to the tally. The forward also contributed two steals and two assists in the contest.

Ackerman now has a league-leading 11 double-doubles on the year and four in a row, and the 2.07 blocks per game average is good for 26th in NCAA Division I. Ackerman also leads The Big West in field goal percentage at 59.11 (133-for225) on the season.
