Hailey Fune' Award Track Athlete of the Week Week Of 3/5/2024 Sport Track & Field School Long Beach State Year Senior Position Multi Hometown Chico, Calif. High School Chico HS Long Beach State's Hailey Fune' finished second in the 100m hurdles at the Beach Opener to earn the Women's Track Athlete of the Week honor. It is the first career weekly honor for Fune'. The Chico, Calif. native clocked a time of 13.77 in the event. The time is currently fourth in NCAA Division I and third in the West Region. Fune' also competed in three other events at the Beach Opener, the high jump, javelin and shot put.
