UC Irvine's Caden Kendle slashed .583/.688 /1.167 with four runs and seven RBI to earn The Big West Field Player of the Week honor. It is the first career weekly honor for Kendle. It is the second time this season that an Anteater has won the Field Player of the Week after Thomas McCaffrey (Feb. 19) was bestowed the honor.

On Saturday, Kendle went 2-for-3 with two RBI and three runs as the Anteaters prevailed over Michigan at home, 12-4.

The Huntington Beach, Calif. product hit 2-for-5, including a grand slam, with four RBI and a run as UC Irvine defeated UCLA 5-2 at Dodger Stadium on Sunday.
- UC Irvine has yet to take a loss and is 9-0 on the year. It is the best start to a season in program history. Kendle is currently hitting .472 with 10 runs and 14 RBI.
