It is the first career weekly honor for O'Connor. In an eventual 4-0 team victory in the final game of the series on Sunday, the redshirt junior allowed only two hits for no runs and 10 strikeouts for a four-game split against the Dons. It was the first win for the lefty in two years after sitting out all of the 2023 season due to injury. Cal State Bakersfield is 2-10 on the season after splitting the series against San Francisco.
