The Big West Basketball ShootOut presented by Downtown Disney hit the campus of Cal Poly on Wednesday night with 54 teams competing to be the campus champions.  The men's and women's divisions had champions crowned while the co-ed finalists will compete on Thursday night during the Cal Poly men's basketball game versus UC Irvine.

In the women's competition, Team Cool with team members Melinda Soriano and Meghen Sampson emerged as the campus champs.  In the men's division, Team Shmeagol with team members Dan King and Jason Pederson took home the title.

The co-ed championship on tomorrow night will pit Sue Phillips Soldiers with Sami Kawahara and Clark Allard against Brazilian Flapjacks with Angela Ceccarelli and Adam Forbes.
