Evanne Turner, UC Davis Women's Basketball Player of the Week  Senior • Guard • Fontana, Calif.

• After accumulating a total of 39 points and 9 assists during a two-win week, UC Davis guard Evanne Turner scored Big West Player of the Week accolades. This is the second weekly honor of the senior's career after taking home the hardware for the first time the week of Feb. 6 in 2022.   

• Turner turned in a season-high 23 points while making five of seven attempts from beyond the arc in the 87-66 win versus St. Mary's. UC Davis's top scorer went 8-of-10 shooting during the game and also recorded a rebound alongside two steals.   

• The guard went on to hit four three-pointers in the following matchup posting a 16-point performance during another Aggie win. Although Turner was hot once again from long range, the Fontana native also grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assists versus Jessup in the 79-40 triumph. 

• Following the two-game stretch, Turner leads the team and Big West in scoring, averaging nearly 17 points a contest (16.7). Turner also ranks first in the league in 3-PT Field Goal Percentage (.431) and 3-PT Field Goals Per Game (3.4), respectively.
